If you have been delegated access to a shared mailbox account, there are several options listed below for opening the shared mailbox as a secondary account to your own personal netid@arizona.edu account in a web browser session.

If you are a student worker, please go to Option 3.


Option 1 -- Open in a New Browser Window

  1. Sign into your personal netid@arizona.edu email account here: https://outlook.office.com 
  2. Click the upper right corner menu that looks like a circle with your initials
  3. Click the Open another mailbox option
  4. Type in the email address of your shared mailbox and click Open


Option 2 -- Open as a Folder in your Outlook session

  1. Sign into your personal netid@arizona.edu email account here: https://outlook.office.com
  2. Right-click the name of your primary mailbox (this sometimes shows up as "Folders") in the left navigation pane, and then choose Add shared folder or mailbox
  3. Type the email address your shared mailbox account, and then click Add.


Option 3 -- Open Shared Mailbox directly with Link (Student Workers Must Use This Method)


  1. Use the following link and replace the bold text with your shared email address:
    https://outlook.office.com/mail/SharedEmail@arizona.edu/?offline=disabled
  2. Open the link in a web browser
  3. If you are asked to log in, enter your own netid@arizona.edu email account, not the shared mailbox account email
